In addition to helping us eliminate bad odor from the hair, aloe vera can be useful to strengthen it, eliminate excess fat and even with dandruff.
Hair is one of our main attractions when it looks well cared for and has a good aroma. The problem appears when it looks dry, brittle or does not have a fresh scent. The causes of these problems are very varied: dandruff, excess heat or chemicals, lack of hygiene or presence of fungi and infections. The good news is that there are some remedies that will give life to your hair and here we tell you.
The tomato is a natural pH leveler that acts as a cleanser and leaves a good aroma in the hair. The amount of tomato juice that we will use will depend on the length of your hair and the amount. The juice has to be natural since the one we buy at the supermarket brings preservatives that can damage or dull your hair.
Once the juice is ready, start applying it from the root with a gentle massage until you reach the tips.
Let it act for 30 minutes.
Wash hair with mild shampoo.
This treatment can be applied up to twice a week. It is ideal when you want your hair to look shiny and silky.
Vodka not only serves to prepare excellent drinks and spend unforgettable moments with friends. It can also make your hair cleaner, with better aroma and stimulate its growth. You just need:
- 1 tablespoon of vodka.
- 250 ml of water.
Mix vodka with water and apply to hair.
Wait 10 minutes and wash your hair as usual.
Repeat the procedure every week.
If you have problems with hair loss, dandruff, excess fat and poor aroma, aloe vera is your solution. You should only use it once a week to enjoy its benefits.
- ¼ cup natural aloe vera.
Apply the aloe vera on your hair.
Let stand for 15 minutes.
Wash with your shampoo and warm water.
Baking soda is one of the essential ingredients of the kitchen for its many uses. When it comes to hair, it eliminates unpleasant odors and excessive grease.
- 3 parts of water.
- 1 part of baking soda.
Note: The final amount will depend on the length of your hair. It is advisable to start small and increase as needed.
Mix the ingredients until a homogeneous paste is created.
Wet your hair and remove excess water with a towel, so that it is moist.
Apply the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
This remedy can be used once a week.
Apple cider vinegar restores the pH of your hair, fights frizz and leaves it shiny. It is perfect for removing any ingredient that causes a bad smell.
- ½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar.
- 1 cup of water (250 ml).
Mix the two ingredients together.
Spray the mixture over dry hair and let it act for a couple of minutes.
Lemon juice is an ingredient of incredible benefits for the body and hair. In addition to cleansing, it helps you naturally combat dandruff and its infections. In return, it leaves a fresh scent on your hair and a soft texture.
- Juice of 2 lemons.
- 1 cup of water (250 ml).
Mix the two ingredients and apply on the hair.
Leave the mixture for two minutes.
Apply the shampoo and wash your hair as you normally do.
It is advisable to use this remedy only once a week. Excessive use of lemon may cause your hair to become discolored. If you intend to rinse your hair, you can apply the recipe up to a couple of times a week.
Honey and cinnamon:
Both cinnamon and honey have very useful antifungal and antibacterial properties. You have two options for this recipe. The first is to consume the mixture of these two ingredients daily. In this case, the cinnamon should be as fresh as possible and can be in the form of infusion or mixed the two ingredients in one teaspoon.
The second option, and more recommended, is the following:
- ½ tablespoon cinnamon powder (10 g).
- 1 cup boiling water (250 g).
- 1 teaspoon of honey (7.5 g).
Mix cinnamon powder with boiling water.
Let the mixture rest for about 20-25 minutes.
Add the honey and stir well.
Apply the mixture to the hair and make sure it wraps completely.
Wait 45 minutes and wash with warm water and shampoo.
Note. This mask can lighten your hair, so we do not recommend its excessive use.
